Couples and Relationship Therapy
The purpose of relationship therapy, also known as marriage counselling or couples therapy, is to address the challenges you are experiencing within your relationship. These may include communication difficulties, feelings of separation or disconnection, considering separation or divorce, or dealing with complex family situations such as retirement or relocation. While this list is not exhaustive, it is important to recognize that all relationships encounter some level of difficulty over time.
My approach is to offer both partners a safe, confidential, and therapeutic space to work through these struggles together. We will identify the specific issues you are facing and collaboratively work towards a healthier resolution or decision for both of you.
An initial 50-minute assessment session is provided, allowing you to determine whether I am the right therapist for you, and allowing me to propose the number of sessions and the best way to proceed. Depending on what feels most helpful and feasible, I offer either fortnightly or weekly sessions. All sessions are scheduled for the same day and time each week or fortnight.
Every regular session lasts for 50 minutes, with a current fee of £85 per session, which applies to both the assessment and subsequent sessions.
